This is an original WWII US army what I believe is a first pattern herringbone HBT shirt/jacket.I am not an expert on WWII clothing.I have personally owned this shirt since it was given to me in the 1970’s.It is in what I would describe as close to unissued condition as you can get.There is a tag in the right pocket but what ever was stamped on the tag has faded away.There is an ink stamp on the collar “36R” which would indicate the size. The sleeves measure approximately 26” from the shoulder to the end of the cuff.The length from the top of the shirt to the bottom is approximately 29”.
