Medal "José Antonio Echeverría".
Along with the Orden "Julio Antonio Mella" and the Medalla "Abel Santamaría" the Medalla "José Antonio Echeverría" is awarded by the Council of State of the Republic of Cuba by recomendation of the Unión de Jóvenes Comunistas (UJC) Union of Young Communists. It seems to be number three in precedence.
Awarded in recognition to the excellent results in studies, and to exemplary attitude in the fulfillment of duties and tasks that the student organizations demand, political and social.
