Two pre-war badges currently offered

I found these two badges on a known auction site. What do you think?

second one is a red-cross badge

I like the Red Cross badge better. If nothing else the screw plate's a replacement on the first badge.

I agree with both Eric and Marc on this one exactly.

Unless you know the seller very well, I'd pass on the first one all together. Besides, somebody cleaned (maybe) the heck out of it for some reason and now it looks too new to me.
