Short description of personal combat feat or accomplishment

Private Petrov in the battle for the expansion of the bridgehead on the left bank of the Vistula River showed boldness, fortitude and courage. In the battle for the town of Skogniki on the 7th August 1944 he was always in front, leading the unit and by his example encouraged the rest of the fighters to follow. Comrade Petrov with his personal weapon destroyed 10 German soldiers. During the liberation of Cherkova, in the heavy fighting with the enemy he destroyed 7 German soldiers with his personal weapon and in battle he was wounded and sent to the hospital. During the entirety of the battles for the expansion the bridgehead, comrade Petrov destroyed roughly 20 German soldiers.
He deserves the governmental award, the Order of Glory 3rd Class

Some confusion here: Was He Evstafiy Timofeyevich or Herman Fedorovich?

Also, could You please post the original citation? It may help to identify the towns.

Personally I think posting images of the record card is even more important than the citation. With most awards we can find the citation ourselves via the record card but we can't do it the other way around.

For this reason that is why there has always been the emphasis on posting images on all original documents - even over pictures of the award itself.
