White stuff is tough to nail down; looks like railroad service colors. -DD

Marc,

The source for this hat is the same person who offers the M1945 VP admiral's uniform as well as the M1943 service cap listed in separate threads.
Hope this helps.

Guys,

I am completely out of my league here, so these questions may be dumb, but here they are anyway :)

The pink top without the white line around it (not sure what the correct word is) would seem to suggest that this a Drozdov Division hat, so how come it has a Kornilov badge?

The leather is quite distressed, so it was obviously worn a lot, so how come the top is in such excellent condition without even traces of fading?

I also have doubts about the perfect shape of the top.

Thanks,

Alexei

I believe the word is "piping"...
