Medal "For Consolidation Of Military Friendship".
The Medal "For Consolidation Of Military Friendship" was instituted on 4th March 1975, close to the 20th anniversary of the Warsaw Pact, to award cooperative forces of pact nations which strengthened the military resources of the People's Republic Of Bulgaria.
There are two types of this Medal, one is enamelled and one is not. The enamelling was too resource expensive to have sustained use. Here is the first type with enamelled flags of every Warsaw Pact nation.
