Original large format Unit History Book. Book measures about 9.25" wide by 12.25" tall. 223 pages. Copyright 1946, Army and Navy Publishing. Unit fought in Europe during WWII and landed at H-Hour, on D-Day at Utah Beach. There is a section on Teddy Roosevelt Jr who was KIA at D-day and was posthumously awarded the CMH for his actions on D-Day. Covers have some spots and show wear around the edges. All inside pages crisp and clean.There is a "yearbook" section showing the regiments members, and a following section of a roster of members following that. Also included is a section for the 22nd regiments history during the war along with a photo section. Book in the pictures is what you will receive. A decent copy of a rare, hard to find unit history.
