Medal "For Resolute Valiant Labour"
This is said to be the Medal for Bravery, 2nd class. I have no clue whether this identification is correct.

I have seen a couple of these for sale before (for about $9-$12) and both times they were introduced as something else. If I could find a clear picture of the text I could give translating it a try.

I think it is "ለ ቆራጥ ጅበዱ ሥራ" which translates as "For Resolute Valiant Labour".
It would make this a labour rather than military award if that is correct.
