Democratic People's Republic Of Korea Fishery Division Honour Badge

Here is the "Democratic People's Republic Of Korea Fishery Division Honour Badge" (조선민주주의인민공화국 수산부문명예휘장). This Badge pre-dates the Order Of Fishery Service Honour and is likely from the late 1960's. The Badge is constructed from chromed copper and baked enamel. The enamel on most of the Badge has been bleached out (most likely by sea water) but the main design is of a trawler with the colourful bar reading "Exemplary" (모범).

This Badge looks to have had a honest and hard life, no doubt in line with the seafaring fisher who was awarded it.
