Awards To Organisations, Factories And State Enterprises.

Hi

A lot of orders awarded to factories, state enterprises etc. I wan't to know about many orders as possible awarded to them. I know there are MANY, but a little help is greatly appreceated.

Also, do any of you has mannaged to but some awards of a factory?

As a start: NPO Energia, state held design and construction enterprise dedicated to space exploration:

The tractor plant of Chelyabinsk is a big machinery company for engineering and production the industrial tractors and engines for them. It has a rich technological and industrial potential. High skilled specialists are able to resolve some complicated problems to construct, engineering. The plant produces some machines for the oil-natural gas, minerals, construction industry and etc. The ChTS production is today in great demand on the russian and international market.

The plant is rewarded with the Order of Lenin in 1971, the Order of the Labour Red Banner in 1983, the Order of Kutusov for the first degree in 1945, the order of the Red Star in 1944. The Test plant in 1944 and the design bureau for diesels in 1945 are rewarded with the Order of Lenin. 12 tractor - constructors became the title the Hero of Socialist Labour.

On the 25th of July, 1966, in accordance with the Decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR, the Works was awarded the Order of Lenin for a successful accomplishment of the seven-year-plan targets and for the development of new more powerful tractors. More than 11 thousand tractor builders were awarded orders and medals, three of them were Heroes of Socialist Labour.

The Komsomol was awarded with 3 orders of Lenin, order of the October revolution, order of the Red Banner and the order of the red banner of labor. On a Komsomol ID they are showd.

Do any of you know the S/N of those orders, and date of issue?

Nice Komsomol badge show the ribbons of the awards earned by the Komsomol. Since there are 6 orders and only 5 rays on the star, the ribbon of the badge is the ribbon for the order of October revolution.

I found a gramota of the komsomol which tell us the years of each order awarded to the komsomol:

Order of the red banner - 1928;
Order of the red banner of labor - 1931;
Order of Lenin - 1945,1948, 1956;
Order of the October revolution - 1968.

The days that the KOMSOMOL had only 4 orders, could be represent by this gramota:

gentlemen, a friend told me about the medla shown by Tal it was pretty equal to a geroi. I think it is very rare, but could you indicate me about its quotation, its number production...and its exacte statue. My little doc tells about it only a paint illsutration and its name" honnor badge of VLKSM"

We all know that some awards - and amongst them the most prestigious - have been awarded to "organisations", and not exclusively to individuals.

As organisations, we can understand and include Armed Forces Units, Banners, Towns, Factories and Enterprises, Newspapers...

Some of them (Gramota or docs, as well as the award / medal itself), are presently, either still ownership of their awardees (or successors / descendants), or displayed in Museums or exhibition places.

Some others are owned by private collectors or - sometimes - coming out on the market ; Dave, recently showed us - coming out on the market - the Gramota of the Ushakov 1st class awarded to the 9th Fighter Aviation Division.

Dear Members of the Forum,
1. Do some of you have in your collection such Gramota/Docs and / or awards/orders/medals you know for sure having been awarded to non-individuals ?

If yes, can you post them (references and/or pics) ?

2. In a general manner, do you have any idea if the Docs are more easily available than the Orders on the market (or the contrary) ?

As a cultural fact, it is - I think - interesting to see if these awards have been kept by these "organisations" as part of their valuable patrimony, or given/sold to museums; or if these have also been sometimes sold for money - and may be some stolen - as have been so many individuals' awards.
