Here is a fantastic tale of reunification.

One day my mouse was having spasms and doing all sorts of things it wasn't supposed to be and it opened up my ebay purchase history (amongst doing lots of other random things) and clicked on a seller that I have purchased from before and then clicked on one of their listings and opened it. When the mouse settled itself I was going to close the window when I looked at the document and saw the "scribbles" on it and had a closer look. Then I saw the name... Then I bought it!

What makes the story even more fascinating is the fact that not only was I not looking for things to buy, The listing was spelt incorrectly and also didn't mention the awardee's name (if I were searching). Then on the document itself Dundua's name is spelt Dondua. Could not believe it!

It was a very happy day when this came in the post. These documents have been in at least 5 different countries now between them all and they are now static. Not yet a complete set but getting closer.

I finally translated the 1940 dated booklet.

"სტალინის სახ თბილისის სახელმწიფი უნივერსიტის

დაუსწრებელი პედაგოგიური სექტორი

სტუდენტის ბილეთი"

Which is;

"Stalin named Tbilisi State University

Correspondence Education Agency

Student booklet"

Some times I find Georgian easier than Cyrillic!
