First time that I see it - I didn't know about it, but Eugene will probably have some medals in his safe...
This medal is "Stalin Prize for Strengthening Peace Among Nations", was awarded 1949-1956, then renamed to International Lenin prize, and in 1989-1991 Lenin Prize of Piece. Pictures of the diploma accompanied to the Stalin peace prize. Hewlett Johnson Papers - Stalin Prize I can't resize the pictures - id someone can, please post them. It is the first time that I see them. |
