Brief description of personal feat Guards Senior Sergeant Khrulev on May 2nd 1945, being part of the Musicians’ Platoon of the division, participated in the battle against a German Battalion that broke through the location of the 2nd echelon of the division. With his courageous actions along with other musicians he helped toward the success of the combat and total rout of the German Battalion despite the fact that the Germans were having advantages in both number and weaponry. He participated in the capture of a group of Germans and killed several Hitleries with the fire of his rifle. He deserves the awarding of the medal “For Bravery”.
