Soviet shoulder boards ??

Hello,

These shoulder boards seem soviet but never see this shape before. The colour is crimson with lighter stripes.

East block perhaps ?

Bulgarian perhaps?

The shape is unfamiliar to me, but the stars look like Czechoslovak. So, these may be Czechoslovak boards from 1950's. I have, however, seen only hexagonal Czechoslovak boards from that era, maybe it's because of the fact that I had only junior officer ones, but that shape may have another meaning.

They are indeed Bulgarian of the 50's-60's.

Here is an earlier communist Bulgarian uniform with more "Soviet" boards, although the centre part still does not look perfectly straight.

Second is a 1955 dated photograph with the "curve" and thirdly a 1957 dated picture.
