The discoloration on the ribbons seemed to have come from the first order book ... bits of melted leatherette(!)

And now the question ...
Seems that in the order book for the 3rd Class, a pen was used to correct the "II" to "III". How significant is this? Would a misstamped order book have been tossed and redone, or would the bureaucracy have allowed a single simple correction like this to pass muster?

Why did you combine obverse of the 2nd class with the revers of the 3rd class and vice versa?
