My Naval Dagger mounted. nothing special, still, i am proud :D
for the record, it hangs vertical... stupid pictures i still cant figure out how to do it right...

in case anyone who was wondering missed it, the picture of theblade is posted above this post (thanks art) and there is no cyrillic writing on the blade at all. could it be an unissued presentation dagger? surplus? the date on it is 1992

1992 makes it a Russian, not a Soviet dagger. Is the other side of the blade also engraved in the same way. I have never seen a Soviet dagger with a blade so engraved :confused: Marc |

hm so re-reading the other thread, apparently the conclusion was that it was a russian rederation issued dagger but they still used the seal of the soviet union. so i suppose the dagger is not soviet at all... hm. well then...
still, does that fact make the engravings on the blade any more explainable?
