Badge "Veteran Of The 89th Rifle Division".

Hello All

Just got a badge plus document that I've been looking for for a quite awhile. It's for the 89th Rifle Div.

About a year or so ago I got a set of four documents and two badges for a single vet and one of the missing badges was for the 89th. The addintional document is a nice bonus.

The badge is rather interesting. It's solid brass but has cold enamel inlays, which have seen better days. Another neat thing is that the original attachment pin is broken off and the vet has sodered a safety pin on the badge as a replacement. I didn't include a picture of the reverse because it didn't scan well.

I've included PDF's of the documents because I couln't get the scans to make the size limit as a jpeg.

PDF 1 came with badge and #2 is part of the 4 document group.
