18th century European socket bayonet, massive 2 feet 3 inches. Interesting. Rare:

Massive 27 inch (2 feet 3 inch) European socket bayonet with short 2 1/2\" socket. The short socket is designed for a basal locking clasp, which is missing. It has a very long square shank and a triangular blade with a long 18 3/4\" fuller in the blade. There is a mark in the shank. In very nice shape for its age. A rare and nice addition for any collection. See all photos.
