This listing is for an AMAZING WW2 may of 1945 Mothers Day ILLUSTRATION from her Soldier son with a Letter on the back and a hand colored Drawing on the front. This epic piece of Militaria art is RARE! I have never seen one like this before. My guess is the soldier drew this himself, or another member of his unit used their artistic talent and made some copies for the lads. It is definitely hand colored, and hand written on the back. A lovely heartfelt letter is written on the back, from a soldier named only as “Bob” here. This “bob” is Sergeant Robert P. Hellerman, of Pittsburgh Pennsylvania. The design is excellent for many rooms and a large variety of decor styles, ready for framing or choice of display. It makes this an excellent staple piece for your collection, one your friends definitely wont have! A great collectors item, for display gifting or decor
It is in good condition, with no major damage. It has some very minor partial separation along a few areas of fold lines, no major tears or staining. See photos for details. Writing on reverse is still very legible.
