Offering an eight panel 4 x 9 3/4 advertising card for Simmons Liver Regulator “for diseases arising from a disturbed liver” and containing Civil War notes by an unidentified solider, possibly compiled after the war, in pencil, listed in the memorandum sections. “Enlisted July 16th, 1862...December 1862 on the march through Maryland to Fredericksburg, fell and hurt [myself]. Carried heavy knapsacks. Got a truss at near our camp near Fredericksburg in Winter of 62 or 63, also one from our medical purveyor on order from our surgeon at New Bern, N.C., in 64 or 65...Captured near Kingston, N.C. March 8, Released March 26, Richmond, VA...Feb. 28th, 1865 was mustered for 10 months...1864 Sept. 24th was taken with yellow fever...”
