An original 13 December 1943 "Confidential Supreme Allied Headquarters Standard Policy and Procedure for Combined Civil Affairs Operations in North West Europe." This document lays out the responsibilities of the Commanding officer for managing civil affairs in occupied areas with the objective of preventing interference with military operations and making maximum use of local resources. It has the officer's name written on the cover. The booklet is 23 doublde-sided pages plus two organizational charts (one folds out) and is bound in a two-hole cardstock folder. Fair condition as shown. The front cover is detached. The pages are dog-eared but still legible, supple and firmly bound. A good, solid, useful copy.
