FORT LEWIS ARMY "DFAE" SOLID BRASS PADLOCK W/BRONZE SHACKLE MATCHING NUMBER KEY:

For sale is a vintage Fort Lewis Army Base "DFAE" (Directorate of Facilities and Engineering) extruded brass body padlock with bronze shackle. Manufactured by "BEST", this heavy duty lock has the original matching number key.
The red coloring of the Fort on one side is faded but some still shows on the other side.The key turns easily in the cylinder and the lock/unlock mechanism works but does not pop open. Once unlocked the shackle must be pulled out of the lock by hand and moves easily. A couple of small nicks here and there and slight discoloration on the top of the lock as would fit with the age and use of the lock. Certainly not damaged.
The lock measures 1 1/2" wide by 2 3/4" tall by 1/2" thick. Weighs 8 ounces.
