Excellent Vintage condition. No heavy wear or damage. Slight scuffs from normal use.
Vintage Hungarian coat of arms wall plaque dating back to pre WW11. It is actually called the "Coat of arms of the Lands of the Holy Hungarian Crown" and was in use between November 6, 1915, and November 29, 1918, and from August 1919 to mid/late 1946. It represented the countries and territories of the Holy Hungarian Kingdom, along with the government ministries under which they functioned. Each of these countries and territories were represented as follows: upper left, Dalmatia; lower left, Slavonia; upper right, Croatia; lower right, Transylvania; bottom, Fiume; in the center, Hungary - and on the very top is the Hungarian Holy Crown.
There is rings attached to the back to hang this piece on the wall. This piece was made at some point between 1916 - 1946.
