Excellent set as just purchasedfrom estate of a WWII veteran. The knifeis about perfect showing absolutely no use.We can find no markings anywhere on it.Leather grip is perfect and everything is nice and tight.
The M6 sheath is marked toBarwood and dated 1943. This was one ofthe smallest contracts for the M6, with only 29,000 delivered. There is a finish scuff as seen above themaker markings and some verdigras on the back of the leg tie grommet. Otherwise about as nice as you ever find oneof these and with no issues.
