This Rare East German Volksmarine officer uniform is a great addition to any DDR collection. Extremely sought after and hard to find, this uniform represents a very small and select group of the East German Military, running the small communist people's navy that had under its command three aged soviet frigates. The rank is Kapitan zur See or roughly equivalent to a Captain (Navy O-6) or Colonel (Army O-6). Volksmarine is rare and hard to come by! This uniform is unissued and brand new.
