VERY rare!WW2 style Maren’s complete uniform. Marens were the Royal Marines equivalent to the Women's Royal Naval Service - WRNS.
The jacket is a 1950's WRNS uniform jacket. It has Kings crown buttons, a leading rate rank badge and visual signaller qualification badge. It is made from the same dark blue heavy wool serge as the wartime uniforms. The only difference is slight changes in the tailoring - position of seams. It measures 37" bust, 34" waist, 25" outer sleeve, height 5' 9".
The skirt is a 1950's skirt in a matching dark blue wool serge. It measures 29" waist, 40" hip and 26" long.
The hat is a genuine WW2 issue WRNS rating cap with a WW2 Kings crown Royal Marines cap badge on red cloth backing. It is a size 56cm.
The shirt is a RN issue woman's shirt 37cm collar 100cm bust with black tie.
All items are in excellent condition with little or no wear.
