This style of cap entered service in the Soviet Navy in 1969, although really the only change was an increase in the size of the crown. The plastic visor is mostly a post-1980 thing - before this they were usually made of fiberboard.


This particular cap was produced in 1990 and is a size 57. It's in very good, all-original condition! It's the style of cap that was worn with the navy officer jacket that I've also got listed.
