U.S. Military Model 1855 Rifle Bayonet with Scabbard 1861 1862 1863:

U.S. Model 1855 Bayonet, measuring 21\" overall with a 21\" blade, inside diameter is .781\". Excellent blade, with original finish remaining, the socket shows a brown/rust patina, scattered pitting. US stamped on the ricasso. The Scabbard shows damage and does not fit fully into the bayonet. These bayonets were not blued like the M1873\'s. They were finished bright as this one is. These fit the Model 1855, 1861, 1862, and 1863 Muskets of the U.S. Civil War. See photos for further details.
