Was cleaning out the desk at the office and realized that I have more letter openers than I need. And, then after closer inspection, I realized that this one was not a letter opener. Picked it up at one of those so-called estate sales many years ago. I'm not really sure what its true purpose was. However, I'll give you my two cents worth and you can purchase it for whatever you think it may or might be. Looks to be a boot two-sided dagger. Measures 9 inches in total length. The markers mark reads UK&R Co. , Germany, Kraus 1 with an etching on the blade that reads " PAL BRAND ". The tip looks to have a slightly bend to it and the overall condition is pretty good. Note that the sheath is pretty worn. Feel free to ask any and all questions prior to any and all purchases as we will do our best to answer them in a timely manner.
