US Army USMC Marine Vietnam Rear Seam M-1 Steel Combat Helmet & Post-VN Liner. I don't know how to date the helmet and liner but the information in pics may help to identify the items. The seam is to the rear, the metal is non-magnetic. The helmet is marked 623 on the inside front which I have been told means it is from RJ Stampings which may mean it is Vietnam era, but not conclusive. The liner seems newer but again the evidence may be there and I don't know how to discern it. There is writing "Ground Troops" etc on the inside of the liner. The liner and webbing is in great shape. The helmet weighs 2 pound 6 ounces and the liner about a pound.
