This is a rare collection of of photos,Nurse caps,and letters.All belonged to Naval Nurse Marian Catherine Stofflet.She graduated from Allentown Hospital School of Nursing in 1943..She first worked in the Naval Hospital in Chelsea,Ma.and them U.S.Naval Hospital Newport,Rhode Island.About 80 letters addressed to her at these locations.Photo albums have many interesting photos.A few to mention are her Graduation photos from Norfolk,Va. June,1944 induction as a Navy Nurse Corps.sent to her from Peg in Camp Lejeune,N.C. showing women in the Marine Corps Women's Reserve.Also Marian at U.S.Naval hospital in Chelsea,Ma.Photo of Skinny Ernie and Bob Hope at El Toro,California,Frances Langford and Tony Romano,photos of her on Hingham,Ma. beach and Lynn,Ma. beach,postcards of Newport,R.I.
