Vietnam War Helmet With Korean War Liner:

Vietnam war era helmet and liner. Helmet is a rear seam swivel bale with a heat stamp of “8271”. Has a medical insignia on the front as well as a drawing of a face and lightning on the back. Unsure if the paint is original, but it is there. There is a hole drilled through the top of the helmet, unsure of its purpose. No chinstraps included. Helmet has no dents and retains almost all of the original paint job, with some small rust spots here and there.


The liner is in good shape. Webbing suspension has some fraying but no rips and will hold. Shell is made by Westinghouse and contains a lot of the original paint. There is insignia on the side that says “We Do”. The nape strap looks to

Vietnam dated, but the sweatband looks to be dated 1952 or 1953. There is cracking and rips in the leather of the sweatband. None on the cloth parts. And no cracks or breaks on the liner shell. Feel free to ask any more questions. Thank you for looking!
