This US Army M1951 M51 field jacket is in fairly good condition for its age. It’s difficult to date exactly when this jacket was made as the ink is too faded to read, but I believe that it was issued in the timeframe during or between the Korean and Vietnam Wars.


I believe that this was originally meant to fit a men’s standard-issue small regular based on the measurements, but please refer to the approximate flat-lay measurements below.

This field jacket is still in very wearable condition! The main issues are fading from use and wear throughout the jacket, some frayed areas and paint spots at and near the bottom hem, and an occasional mark or area of wear. The patches above the pockets were also removed, leaving behind some slightly darker spots.
