An original lot of WW1 period letters all dated plus an unused Ships Log for the British registered MS (Merchant Steamer) Winton.This vessel was on route from Australia to Britain carrying a cargo of wheat when on July 28th 1934 she got into difficulties during a storm and was blown onto rocks where she ran aground and broke in two with the cargo catching fire which completely destroying the ship.Interesting lot
