Compiled onto a DVD is a scanned version of the RCAF manual CAP384Pilots Handbook of Radio Navigational Facilities Volumes 1 and 2. This manualis a MUST HAVE to give an insight into aerodromes and air navigation in Canadaduring ww2. All pilots that were doingany sort of cross country beyond just standard flight training around aspecific aerodrome would have used this book.

This manual is a great reference in tracking down the details of thedifferent aerodromes used as part of the BCATP to train pilots and aircrew throughthe different EFTS, SFTS, B&G and AOS schools.

The dates of the pages on Volume 1 Date from late 1945. At this point many facilities were shut down,beginning to be abandoned or transferred over to civilian groups, but this isstill a valuable reference. The dates ofthe pages on Volume 2 Date from late 1944, at the height of training in theBCATP, when most schools were in operation.

All pages have been professionally scanned from the originals that Ihave tracked down. They have beendigitally rotated cropped, and saved as JPG format for easy viewing. Two versions are included, one with is theoriginal colour scans, and a second monochrome copy for ease in viewing orprinting should you wish to do that.
