WW2 Orig. U.S. Army Infantry / Paratrooper Garrison Cap ~ KHAKI w/ Blue Piping :

This is an original military cap from WW2. It is a U.S. Army Infantry (also Para-

tropper), called a Garrison ('Overseas') hat.

It was a summer-weight cotton material in the KHAKI color. It contains the BLUE (with GREY) cord or piping color of Infantry.

Inside is a OD green cotton sweatband. No size is indicated, but inside side-to-side measurement is 10-inches. Front and back are slightly sloped down.

NOTE: I have a hard time getting correct pics of military clothing hues. This cap has a slight green hue to it--not sand like most Khaki, and not dark green.

It is in good condition.
