Cristobal, provides a fascinating glimpse into the lives of men & women serving during the war. This issue is special of course, because it is the 1945 Christmas issue, published while on the way home from a victorious war and on the way to a glorious celebration at home. With captivating articles, stories, and comics, illustrations, this newspaper is a true must have for anyone interested in the history of the second world war. It even has letters from the ships Captain and Chaplain! It provides an often forgotten point of view, one ever harder to grasp as more and more veterans pass. . The design is excellent for many rooms and a large variety of decor styles. It makes this an excellent staple piece for your collection, one your friends definitely wont have! Likely was handed out to one Corporal John S. Cuppy of the 35th Service Corp on his way home. A great collectors item, for use display gifting or decor.
