WWI & WWII 1914 -1945 GERMAN MAPS WEHRMACHT, A.O. \"TRUPPENKARTE\" ( Eastfront, Russia, Bialystok).
Offered are 13 road maps which were found during house clearances in Germany.
They are from WW1 & WW2 and used by german soldiers. They were a.o. used on the Eastfront and show Russian area\'s, a.o. Wolchow, Brody, Lemberg tec. Others were used in France and show cities like St.Omer- Valenciennes, Metz etc. Some of them were printed in WW1, but these were ofcourse also unsed in WW2
On a number of the maps positions are drawn in black and red pencil.
Two of the maps are huge maps measuring app. 145 x 75 & 120 x 75 cm.This size was mainly used by the company staff to plan manouvres and attacks.
Included are a so-called \"Truppenkarte\" and Dienstgebrauch, these maps were produced and handed out by the OKH (Oberkommando de Heeres) to company commanders.
The maps are in a well used condition, showing rips and tears and a number have the edges removed.
These maps are very exiting as they show exactly positions of the germans and their enemies and popular by collectors for display purposes.
