Here’s an opportunity at an outstanding WWII 15th Airforce Italian Painted Patch A-2 jacket. The jacket shows a fantastic painted B-24 patch on the back with multiple areas denoting the missions of this serviceman. The jacket inside on the lining is stamped Lt C J Smith. There is a fantastic bullion 15th patch present. All patches are original and in good condition. The large patch on the back does have a little repair that was done at some time. These large patches are famous for splitting so someone carefully put some sort of glue like material to ensure safety from splitting any further. The zipper is the original zipper and the cuffs and waist band appear to be original. The leather is in pretty solid condition also. Really a great jacket for the money as these have been bringing record prices over the last year. Some jackets have sold upwards of $15,000-30,000. I will accept the first fair and realistic offer.
