Here is aWWII For Production lapel pin.

The front reads, "USN" (US Navy) along the left edge, the letter "E" on the top, and, "FOR PRODUCTION," on the bottom. The back reads, "U.S. NAVY AWARD FOR WAR WORK," around the boundary and, "FOX COMPANY," "CINTI." (Cincinnati) "O." (Ohio) at the bottom.


There is no visible wear or damage. The USN along the left side is hard to read and it looks like a production defect.


It is 7/16" tall by 3/8" wide and itweighs .159 oz. (4.5 grams).


It came in a small old wooden box with items from the 1940's to 1970's.
