Badge "42nd Guards Tank Brigade".

[Pobeda45]

Here's a workshop-made badge for the 42 Separate Guards Heavy Tank Smolensk Order of Red Banner Order of Suvorov Order of Bogdan Khmelnitsky Order of Red Star Brigade (42-я отдельная гвардейская тяжелая танковая Смоленская Краснознаменная, орденов Суворова, Богдана Хмельницкого, Красной Звезды бригада) A well decorated unit with the Smolensk honorific. I am not sure of the significance of the elephant--perhaps a unit marking.
