it is a membership badge for the DOSAAF (pre military training) organisation.

I know these badges aren't particularly special or unusual, but I just kind of like the idea of the organization (and I LOVE Soviet badges :D).

For a tiny badge, it sure has a long screw post.

Here's a nice and tiny DOSAAF badge I just got. 20mm by 25mm from about 1952. Nicely marked screwplate, too.

It's been a real saga posting this pair as I looked for the Badge in the undocumented Badges section of the collection and after looking through every one remembered I have the document so then I found it. Then I went looking to find the document (which I have not yet found) and gave up after an hour only to find I'd already scanned it. The effort I put in for you guys!
