"Bulgarian Communistic Orders of "FOR BRAVERY" w/Swords 120 Full Sets (1st., 2nd. and 3rd. class), all in MINT condition (total 360 0rders).

Starting bid: US $16,000.00 "

etc.

These are hard to come by awards, but who would need 120 sets of each?

Plus where would you really get that many sets from? Did he manage to rob Bulgarian State Mint?

William,

Or could it be that there are fakes in other areas than Soviet awards, despite all the one-sided talk we keep hearing?

Marc
Who on earth would put up 18000 USD for a bunch of Bulgarian awards... and I assume the seller is in Bulgaria, which means he accept only cash or Western Union... I will pass Big Grin
"You're bidding on an original Order of Stalin from WW2, which was awarded for courage on the battlfields. It is very rare, and only one million were awarded. Since the breakup of USSR, many of these pieces have been lost, which is why it has an immense value, and hard to find.
It can be comparded to the German Iron Cross."

Starting bid : EUR45.- ($54.-)

If it has a sword inside like in the movies, then I'd be impressed. Smile
It is a novel new way to display cap badges if you can't find a cap LOL; but a terrible waste of a sword.
