Popov's "Techincal Contribution" will definitely be in construction. He will have also aided in the construction of sporting arenas in Sofia in the late 1960's.

Popov received his second Gold Class Order Of Labour soon after it dropped the "National" prefix. The "30th Anniversary Of Construction Troops" indicates just how this engineer served the People's Republic.

Whilst constructing in both Bulgaria and the Soviet Union Engineer Popov still had time to donate blood (A resource in high demand if you are damaged in a construction accident).

Popov's swansong was a second Order "Red Banner Of Labour" leaving his accumulation of awards looking like a civil servant with civil awards parallel to the military awards of a colonel.
