I guess I can chime in with my opinions:
I have dealt with Eugene in the past and have never had a problem. Once he verbally agreed to help me locate 2 awards and several weeks later they simply showed up at the house. My father pinned them to the flag and I didn't even know they arrived until the bill came

That's what I call service!
So in my book Eugene is a stand up guy.
With the above said, it bothers me to no end to see posts from people where the prompt payment didn't equal prompt mailing. As a collector, there's NOTHING worse than waiting for something you paid for and really want it the same day! Forcing your customers to wait weeks and months is no way to conduct business.
I understand that there is personal life that always gets in the way of our collections and truly is more important but at that time refund the money, send a note, something to put "us" at ease!
Sorry for the rant,
Rusty.

Has anyone thought that maybe it is pointless to slam Eugene without knowing exactly what was the reason for the delay? A hint at it being a personal issue was mentioned.
Of course, if he was setting in his apartment playing with a Wii or Xbox for the last couple of months while sharpening his skills at "Call of Duty" then that is one thing. But what if it was a real situation that meant he was unavailable to anyone but his close family due to "health issue", "accident", "crisis with children", "parent passed"?
Basically, the reasons could be endless and without him saying anything this whole thread has been nothing but a big grapevine. Shame on you "ladies" for engaging in gossip. Let's leave the gossiping to real women. We have enough to worry about.
Geesh!
