Ser-g,

Definitely not. I believe that this is a post-soviet label.

Hello Ser-g:

Do you have a photo of the cap so that we could see it?

Thank you

Ser-g,

By what it is appreciated in the photo, the wide crown and the very high front, it seems to indicate that it is a cap much of the use of the postsoviet age.

Anyway you crown exaggeratedly big and lacquer visors were also much of the use at the end of the Soviet age, to resemble that of some top officials. Apparently these military men were buying them in private establishments.

Also it might be the case of your cap. :-)

A greeting,

Hmm, what would all those colours on the band and piping and crown all add up to?

it is a KGB border guard cap, Kelly green top dark blue (midnight) band , and red piping. earlier on it used to be the same but with magenta piping.
