Fake "Defence Of" Campaign Medal Documents.
I haven't handled many of these but this one seems ok. The ink, paper creases, and stamp seem ok. As I said I'm not an expert with these so i hope someoneelse chimes in.

I am very happy to read that. Thank you guys for your time.
I was a bit skeptical since all Caucasus awards I've seen so far were printed on pinkish or yellowish paper, while this one is still quite white in spite of its age.

Hallo.
Together with a Defense of Polar region medal, I have got this award which sounds very much suspicious to me. Inside, it looks very dirty and mistreatedm while outside the booklet seems very well preserved.

May I have your opinions?

Thank you
sergio

I would really like to examine this booklet in person. I'm afraid the fakers are getting better all the time.

You are smart to be wary of such a dirty document with a pristine outside.

For one, NOTHING is discernible on the unit stamp. Another red flag is the unit's numerical designation is not identified.

I don't have any docs on hand to compare, but the illustration of the Arctic Medal itself just doesn't look right. It could just be the photo, but the printing on the cover looks irregular.

Looks bad to me - poor quality print, fresh ink, artificial ageing, etc. I think the rubber stamp could be pre-printed.

Paul,

Spot on with the comment on the depiction of the medal! On the examples I have the centre image is as crisp as the outer detail on the rim - on this example it certainly isn't.

I usually use the Soviet crest as a check point - if you can't see the letters, it's most likely bad.
