Fake "Excellent" Badges.
desantnik Wrote:I still disagree. I have seen entire sets and multiples of singles that were made very recently. The screwback plates are also crudely done with plenty of molding flash and poor finishing. Is there wear on the screwpost and can you show the reverse side of the screwback plate?

Paul, I'm sorry if we disagree, but maybe for these badges I feel prepared, having collected many of them, including crudely fakes. :(

This should be the screwplate for the badge of our friend, if only he deigns to give measurements, and post photos of your screw plate...

Thank you so much for your answers!
I haven't found any information about this badge online more than it was issued in 1947.

The measurements are 46x37 mm. I'm pretty sure the screw plate that came with the badge doesn't actually belong to the badge.

Here is the closest one I found to the one on post 296 on page 30. I think it is trying to be this version?

I have a bad opinion on these two badges...
You can give to me, even the measures of width and height?

Unfortunately no, I was simply looking for a 'real' version of the one in post 296 (which was was thought a fake)!
Could be more fakes? Were on a Russian collectors website with lots of critics (so if fake, must be pretty good fakes).
Here was another one.

Hi meyerse,

For now, I haven't never seen this type of badges, but the last one I like.

Hello!

Can you please tell me if this is good? Have had it for over 15 years. Let me know if you need additional photos.

If it's original, what would be a ballpark figure on it? And can I sell this on this site? Thanks for your time!

It looks like a nice "early" piece.

These now sell for around $30 a piece, it used to be a lot more but prices are plummeting over the board.

It certainly can be offered on the forum marketplace.

Submit your listing here.
