Fake Medals "For Bravery"
Bill Garvy Wrote:Perhaps more experienced collectors of the Medal for Bravery can speak to the correctness of the type and variation you mention, however, in my opinion, the medal certainly looks authentic.

I agree, this medal is :thumbsup for me.

The 'shovel' ring variation that some find collectible. Personally, I find the sub-1mil BMs much sexier but whatever floats your goat....

Please, I need some opinions about this For Bravery Medal, seems to me it's a Type 2. 1.1a medal. But I'd like to know if the rear number and kolodka are original from this medal.

Regards,

Ricardo

I believe your query has been asked and answered; original Bravery Medal mounted on a more modern suspension.

Ricardo,

Your medal is original, but the suspension is a later replacement.
