Hm... very difficult to say, I see. A very rare occasion: Paul and Eugene do not agree at all... I decided to leave it out; it was sold yesterday somewhere around 100,- € I think...

We have to consider that these digits’ dies have been applied slightly angularly. Therefore top parts have turned out more thickly. But, imho, figures have retained their recognition: familiar 1’s hook, typical 4, the 7, 8 and 0 are also absolutely alike.
I think so... ;)

Hello!
Shall I go for these medals? I hope the pictures are good enough for you to make your advise. Thank you! ciao sergio
Sergio, in my oppinion medals look okay, for the suspension we need better pictures.
best regards Andreas P.S. Here is a picture of a serial number near by (Bravery medal).

"Combat service" looks very convincing, but I am not quite sure concerning the serial number and the ring of the "Bravery"

Medals themselves are fine, as so appears the CSM suspension ring. Agree that pictures of both reverse suspensions needed without nuts. The CSM nut at a minimum, appears to be a cast reproduction and not a mint-produced, die-struck originals.

I agree that nuts look reproductions. On the suspensions, I am not able to make my own assessment but the one on the BM looks bad to me.
Thanks for your opinions, very much appreciated. ciao sergio

Hi there,
Just a quick comment on this one. Please correct me if I am wrong: a type 2 var 2, isn't it? it looks good to me... thanks in advance

Perhaps more experienced collectors of the Medal for Bravery can speak to the correctness of the type and variation you mention, however, in my opinion, the medal certainly looks authentic.
